Westwood College in Chicago: DuPage Campus

The Westwood College – DuPage Campus is located 28 miles southwest of Chicago in Woodridge, Illinois. Its proximity to the I-355/I-55 junction makes it easily accessible from many points in the city. Students can enjoy open spaces and parks and still be only a short train ride from the excitement of downtown Chicago.

The scenic DuPage location includes 18 classrooms in over 30,000 square feet. The classrooms and computer labs are equipped with workplace-relevant technology, including both PC and Macintosh computers. Students can access reference materials and free Internet at the student commons, along with the Career Development Center. Campus activities include student appreciation and end-of-finals events, along with career development workshops twice each term. The faculty members have years of real-world experience in their industries.

Westwood’s DuPage Campus continues to grow, in part because the area appeals to a wide variety of lifestyles. Students, professionals, and every size of family can find suitable housing in the area, and Woodridge’s natural forests provide many opportunities for outdoor recreation. There are also a number of movie theaters, professional golf courses, malls and restaurants in the area.

The Village of Woodridge is also a great place to work: DuPage County’s economic development has doubled since 1995. With a sturdy industrial base and booming retail industry, students at the DuPage Campus have their choice of part-time jobs while completing their studies and can make valuable industry connections for securing a job after graduation.
